Jacob HOLLINGWORTH Bond - 1 May 1742 Know all men by these presents that I Jacob HOLLINGWORTH of Cranbrook in the County of Kent Gentleman am held and firmly bound unto Nicholas HOLLINGWORTH of Goudhurst in the County of Sussex in the Sum of One Hundred pounds of good and lawful money of Great Britain to be paid to the said Nicholas HOLLINGWORTH or his retain? attorney his Executors Administrators or Assigns To which payment well and truly to be made I bind myself my Heirs Executors and Administrators or Assigns firmly by these presents sealed with my seal Dated the First day of May In the Fifteenth year of the Reign of Our Sovereign Lord George the Second by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and so forth And in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred & Forty two The Condition of this Obligation is such that if the above bounden Jacob HOLLINGWORTH his Heirs Executors Administrators do well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the above named Nicholas HOLLINGWORTH his Executors Administrators Assigns the full sum of Fifty One pounds & five shillings of good and lawful money of Great Britain on the First day of November next without Fraud or Delay Then the above written Obligation be void or else to be and remain in full force and virtue Jacob HOLLINGWORTH (signature & seal) Sealed and delivered being first duly stampt in the presence of : Solomon OLLIVE; James OLLIVE
