TRANSCRIPTION OF THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT IN RESPECT OF RICHARD HOLLINGSWORTH, PRIVATE SOLDIER, IN H.M 59th REGIMENT OF FOOT WHO DIED IN ACTION IN THE EAST INDIES AROUND THE YEAR OF 1817.

In the Name of God Amen.

This is to testify that I Richard Hollingsworth Private soldier in HM 59th Regiment of Foot being in perfect health and sound sense of mind do declare this to be my last will and testament  Viz I give and bequeath to my beloved friend Thomas _ Serjeant in the aforesaid regiment at my decease all my pay arrears of pay clothing and _ _ may _ my share of prize money for the capture of the Colony of Good Hope in January 1806 and likewise whatsomay _ my share of prize money for the capture or surrender of the Isle of _ in _ 1810 and whatever is due me or may become due at my decease from the aforesaid Regt.  I say _ give and bequeath the whole to the aforesaid Thomas _man (Doolsman?) Serjeant in the said regiment as witness my hand this eighteenth day April 1811

On 17th Oct 1817 admon with _ will allowed of the _ clothes and credits of Richard HOLLINSWORTH late a Private in His Majesty’s fifty ninth regiment of foot in the East Indies _ was granted to Robert SHARP the sole executor of this will of Thomas _man _ whilst living the sole_ named in the  _ will being first sworn duly to admin  No executor or _ _ the said or _ _man survived the _ but died without having taken upon himself the duties of admon with this _ will _ of the _ of the said _
